Seeing a world in red
Angry and brutal and bloodstained and mad and raging
Seeing it fester and twist like vines choking branches choking a rope choking you dangling like Christmas lights gone deadSeeing the bleeding oriface of heaven cry red from tragedy's gone all encompassing destruction
Take the red off and it all turns blue
In the blue, there is all the pain that remains
a life hangs forlorn on life's dusky dead tree
Seeing blood in the form of clear water and knowing that God is crying from the tragedy of all of us
All that remains is the blue, when the red fades away.
